Our Health and Safety Excellence program helps you make your workplace safer, while earning rebates on your WSIB premiums. Plus, you’ll receive an extra $1,000 once you get started.

We make it easier for small businesses and businesses new to health and safety to succeed in the program by offering tailored support to help you make lasting health and safety improvements in your workplace.

Free and low-cost health and safety resources

As a WSIB-registered business you receive a free membership with your industry’s Health and Safety Association and free access to the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety’s Business Safety Portal:

  • Contact your Health and Safety Association to access health and safety expertise, best practices, innovative and cost-effective solutions, training and information.
  • Sign up for the Business Safety Portal through your online services account. After logging in to our online services, click ‘access free health and safety resources’ to start using a range of industry-specific health and safety resources, like templates, online courses and practical manuals, to help make your workplace safer and help meet your legal obligations.
