2018 “It’s Your Job” student video contest

High school students across Ontario are encouraged to participate in the “It’s Your Job” video contest where they can win prizes and recognition for themselves and their school.

How to participate: Create an original video, no longer than two minutes that showcases knowledge of workplace health and safety. This year’s contest theme is: The business case for health and safety.

The contest is now accepting submissions. Entries will be accepted until Monday March 4, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for the top three submissions:

  • 1st Place:  $2000 to the student(s) and $2000 to their school
  • 2nd Place: $1500 to the student(s) and $1500 to their school
  • 3rd Place:  $1000 to the student(s) and $1000 to their school

The first place winner will also be entered into the national contest hosted by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) to compete against  winners from across the country.
