Deferred premium payments not required before January 1, 2021
New online services making it easier for people to access services

Toronto, October 1, 2020 – The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) announced today that premium rates for Ontario businesses will be held for another year at the same levels paid in 2020, offering stability as employers grapple with the economic impact of the global pandemic. The announcement comes after four years of significant decreases that cut the average premium rate almost in half.

Toronto, May 19, 2020 – The WSIB is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Witmer has been reappointed Chair of the Board of Directors of Ontario’s WSIB for a third term.  Her appointment is effective May 17, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
