What are the billing requirements?

Electronic billing is required via the TELUS Health Portal. 


Billing code:
MTBRTB1 or;
MTBRTB1V (if vestibular rehabilitation was delivered)

MTBRTB2V (if vestibular rehabilitation was delivered)

Report submission will automatically generate an invoice and payment for all reporting.


Electronic billing submission is not required via the TELUS Health Portal.

Report submission will automatically generate an invoice and payment for the supplementary block treatment and report.

Note: Be sure to keep the correct service code on the supplementary report: MTBRST or (if vestibular rehabilitation was delivered) MTBRSTV.
What do I need to do to get payment?
  • Complete block 1 of treatment.
  • Submit bill electronically for the block using TELUS Health Portal.
  • Enter the date of the first treatment visit in block 1 as the service date. Enter the number of visits delivered within block 1.
  • Complete block 2 of treatment.
  • Submit bill electronically for the block using TELUS Health Portal.
  • Enter the date of the first treatment visit in block 2 as the service date. Enter the number of visits delivered within block 2.
  • Complete reporting.
  • Submit the reporting via the WSIB online services.
  • Complete the supplementary block of treatment.
  • Complete reporting and submit via  the WSIB online services.
What will I be paid?
  • $630 is paid for block 1.
  • $715 is paid if vestibular rehabilitation is delivered within block 1. 

Note: Payment will not be processed for block 1 until the mid-point report has been received. 


If fewer than the minimum number of visits are delivered, the block fee is reduced by 50%. 
  • $330 is paid for block 2.
  • $440 is paid if vestibular rehabilitation is delivered within block 2.

Note: Payment will not be processed for block 2 until the care and outcomes summary has been received.


If fewer than the minimum number of visits are delivered, the block fee is reduced by 50%. 
  • $50 paid when the initial report has been received.
  • $30 paid when mid-point report has been received.
  • $50 paid when the care and outcomes summary has been received. 

Note: Payment is processed by the WSIB upon receipt of the reporting.
  • $270 is paid when report has been received. 
  • $325 paid when report has been received and if vestibular rehabilitation is delivered within supplementary block. 

Note: Payment of the supplementary block of treatment and report is processed upon receipt of supplementary reporting; do not submit a bill for this block
