We also offer a Survivor Benefit Program, which provides specialized services to workers, and dependants affected by certain serious occupational illnesses. If you are a spouse or dependant of a worker who died as a result of a workplace injury or illness, you can contact the WSIB to claim survivor benefits.

Report an injury or illness
If a family member has had a fatal or catastrophic workplace accident, report online or call us at 1-800-387-0750, Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
