Canada Post service disruption

Getting your cheque

Following the Canada Post service disruption, we’ll continue sending wage-loss benefit payment cheques by Purolator courier in most cases, while Canada Post ramps up their services.

If you miss your Purolator delivery and have the tracking number, you’ll need to contact Purolator directly to coordinate your mail pickup.

Appealing a decision

We’ve extended the time limit to object to any decisions made between November 10 to December 20, 2024 by 60 days. This extension includes return-to-work decisions and all other decisions.

Receiving access to your file

We expect there will be delays sending paper copies of claim files as Canada Post resumes their services. We’ll continue to send copies of files electronically, where possible. Please contact us if you need a copy of your claim file and we can send it to you electronically.

Let’s keep connecting online

If you signed up for online services during the labour disruption, please continue using these services for faster service any time of day.

You can use our online services to report an injury or illness, view information about your claim, set up direct deposit, submit a document or send us a message.
