Access to Government Records

Certain information may be withheld under one of the specific exemptions outlined in FIPPA.

These exemptions include:

• cabinet records
• records containing certain law enforcement information
• records that could prejudice intergovernmental relations
• personal information that could invade the privacy of an individual
• certain records supplied in confidence by a third party

If an exemption applies, the requestor will be notified when making a request.
